Remote Access A Raspberry Pi with SSH and DDNS

If you have a raspberry pi with a dynamic IP address and you want to remote-acccess into the device SSH with SSH, you will need to use a DDNS to secure shell (SSH) into the computer.

The reason being is that your raspberry pi’s dynamic IP address will change at some point, rendering you unable to connect to the device remotely.

With a DDNS, you can direct a unique domain name to your raspberry pi and when your raspberry pi’s dynamic IP address changes, it will automatically update your DDNS record to reflect the new IP address.
